Eat Scottish Shellfish is funded by Crown Estate Scotland, who have provided specific support for the www.eatscottishshellfish.co.uk website. Scottish Shellfish, the Association of Scottish Shellfish Growers (ASSG) and Associated Seafood are actively involved in supporting the project, providing access to farms, industry information and consumer insight.

These organisations have recognised the need to improve awareness and knowledge about shellfish farming with current and future generations. This campaign represents the whole of the Scottish farmed shellfish industry, from farm to fork.

Our vision is to have “generations of informed and inspired consumers eating more Scottish farmed shellfish”, and we are on a mission to improve the health of the nation by getting more people to eat sustainable farmed shellfish.
